Celeste Houvener LAc

Celeste is a licensed acupuncturist who graduated from Oshio College of Acupuncture and Herbology with her Masters of Traditional Chinese Medicine.  She began her healing-arts profession in 2011 as a licensed massage practitioner. She followed her passion for bodywork to deepen and focus her practice through traditional Chinese medicine.  After a lifetime of pursuing athletics and embodiment practices she became certified as a Medical Qi Gong practitioner and Daoist Sword Instructor, and incorporates this in her practice in individual and group sessions. With traditional Chinese medicine and western bodywork modalities guiding her, she utilizes her knowledge and skill to help her patients achieve the state of being and physical performance they seek.

When she is not seeing patients, Celeste enjoys a variety of athletic and artistic activities. She trains in performance arts as a dancer, aerialist, and vocalist and seeks to help others with the techniques she has developed over the years. She practices vocal toning and sound healing and encourages utilizing the power of the breath and voice in wellness practices. She has an extensive interest in outdoor activities and is a testament to the mind/body state of thriving that a connection with nature provides.
